I helped care for both my grandmother and mother-in-law. My grandmother needed meals made and help showering and using the restroom, making sure she took her medications, and general company. It was a great way to learn all the family recipes, particularly "Grandma Soup." My mother-in-law needed transportation, banking and shopping help mostly. I really love elderly people. They have insight that only comes with age and experience. I am a very patient and caring person. I have been thinking about changing careers for a while and I can't think of many better than helping someone who is in need of an assistant or just companionship.
