The affiliate program is designed to provide qualified partners with an opportunity to receive compensation for helping refer parents and families to Care.com's nationwide network of trustworthy babysitters, nannies, pet sitters, tutors, and senior caregivers. In order to qualify for Care.com's affiliate program, individuals or organizations must have a live website available for review, and it must have a family-friendly mission.

With the rollout of the affiliate program nationwide, Care.com has announced that Upromise®, has signed on as the company's first major partner. Upromise enables families to automatically save money for college while making eligible everyday purchases of products and services at thousands of grocery and drug stores, retail outlets and online sites. Through the Care.com affiliate program, Upromise members can earn a $16 contribution when signing up for a Care.com premium subscription.

As a special introductory offer to the first participants in the affiliate program, Care.com will increase the per-subscriber commission to $40 through September 30, 2007.
