Playtime Day Care

I had three children that went to Playtime. They are now grown but loved the time they spent there. One is wanting to open a daycare of her own, the second is studying to be a teacher and the last one is still in school. They loved enjoying water days, hay rides, and magic shows. Yes they have sand in the play yard in the fall zones. The remainder is grass. This is one of the safest types of yards for kids. This is required by the state it must be rock, sand or mulch. Rocks the kids can throw and hurt each other, put in mouth or ears, mulch attracts scorpions and termites. Sand is your best bet. Yes, they get sand in the shoes but at least they are outside and playing and not sitting in front of the TV or video games.

I have heard wonderful things about this center and I will continue to recommend it. If you want a gauge of a daycare look at the two year history of their inspections. Try search Texas Child care.

I had my child there at one time, but not any more. On two different times when I picked my child up he was crying and when I asked about why he was crying all they would say he is just tired. If he was just tired why would he have red marks on his legs and arms. I asked about that they would say he just fell but he is ok. The last time I picked him I saw one of the teachers grab a child by his arms and forced him to sit and he started to cry and she yelled to shut up. After that I took my child out. The teachers aren't very friendly. Think twice before you put your child there.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. When I would pick up my child on three occasions his diaper One time I went early and I could hear him crying. They had him in time out, because he took a toy away from another child. He was hit right in front of me by a much older child. My child had just turned one.

Not real impressed. Playground is solid dirt, kids come home very dirty w/dirt filled shoes every day. My kid has been there 6 months and has not learned a lot about ABC's or colors. Basic stuff. Has been picked up several times w/dirty pull up. Seems to have not been checked.
