I have always been an animal lover and have often struggled with leaving our family pets in the care of others when we are away on vacation or when we have to be away for an extended periods during the day, so I understand the concerns pet owners face. I am a mature college graduate available for daily walks, feedings, administering general pet medication, and overnight sitting. I am fitness-minded, so walking larger pets would not be cause for concern. I am capable of strictly following written or verbally communicated directions for pet care. I have a full-time job Monday-Friday, but can be available by 3:30 in the afternoon and on weekends.

I currently have two 10-year-old dogs, a miniature dachshund and a pit-bull mix; so I am confident with small and large dogs. I am familiar with and have personally performed crate training. While I have no paid experience in pet care, I often watch our friends' and family members' pets when they are away on vacation and have done this for many years. I have cared for many different types of pets including dogs, cats, parakeets, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, a gecko, freshwater fish, and saltwater fish.
