My experience has been mostly caring for cats of friends and relatives. It's not been until recently that I've been compensated for my services. I've always loved animals but my passion comes more now. At the age of 24, I was diagnosed with cancer. Children were no longer an option for me. My cats are my babies. I've cared for up to 29 at one time finding good homes while keeping them happy and healthy. I personally have six. Four of them unfortunately passed on last Christmas. One was abandoned and adopted by me. One was a starving, abandoned kitty that wouldn't let anyone near her, not even for food, except for me. She just weaved around my ankles. Now who could deny that. So she found herself a new home. I have assisted with the vet in saving several animals. A lot of times it will be animals that have taken ill and, besides the medication from the vet, they need extra care. I give them the 24/7 care needed. My passion is from the heart. I believe they know this and for that they trust me to care for them. Maybe sound corny to some but they're my babies, what can I say.
