Hi! My name is Taylor, and I am very experienced with animals such as dogs, cats, horses, mice, gerbils, chickens, pigs, bearded dragons, snakes, geckos, birds, ducks, pigeons parakeets, etc. I have been working at a kennel for 6 years as a kennel attendant where I am experienced in walking, feeding, medicating, and grooming. I'd like to emphasize that I am thoroughly trained in Diabetes medication administration. I also have experience with elderly dogs, including my own, deaf dogs, and blind dogs. I have cared for dogs with special needs and diets, including but not limited to dogs that require diapers, slings, stitches, or cones.
Not only have I worked at a kennel, but I grew up on a farm, so I know how to care for multiple animals. I have 3 Brittany Spaniels named Tucker, Raleigh, and Shane, 3 Black Labs named Cody, Doc, and Angus, and a Collie named Jersey. They are all the loves of my life. In addition to my dogs I currently have 2 horses, pigeons, a gerbil, and a cat on my farm back home.
I have experience with behavioral training and have assisted in classes that take place at my workplace. My father has built and owned a dog kennel since 2005 and is a professional dog trainer, participating in numerous field trials and competitions. I have also seen him in action. Although I have no experience with agility training, if you are interested, I know which direction to point you in. I have participated in dog events. I have rehabilitated my own animals, including my Collie, Jersey who has seizures and has been hit by a car. He's 15 and is in wonderful condition! I have even syringe-fed baby mice to adulthood using kitten milk. I do not discriminate when it comes to loving animals.
I am a college student, so my availability is based on when I do not have class. I can assure you that not only will I provide professional care, but I will provide loving care. I am an animal lover of all sorts.
