I have worked in the pet care industry for just about eight years. I am head of a behavior and medical rehabilitation department. In that department, some of the medical needs include medicating, vaccinating, blood draws, physical therapy, post surgery, before and after heart worm treatments, and general care of mothers with puppies, and puppies all the way up to geriatric care. I also help in the rehabilitation of hoarder and puppy mill dogs, dogs with aggression issues, shy/fearful dogs and feral dogs. I have been extensively trained in the medical field, behavioral field and proper disease protocol. I have pet sat all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, all types of exotic birds, small mammals, horses and pot bellied pigs. I have cared for fish and reptiles before but I do not have as much experience as I do with other pets.
