I have always grown up with both dogs and cats in my house and I have a great love for both of them. I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year in high school where I walked the pets, bathed them, fed them and played with them. I have never worked specifically as a pet-sitter but many of the families that I have babysat for have pets. I also have owned various aquatic animals and I have watched my neighbors animals while they go on vacation. Last summer, I was an intern at a Nature center where I cared for all types of animals including small mammals, amphibians, aquatic animals and birds.
