I grew up with Bernese Mountain Dogs and my sister is quite active in pug rescue. I have cared for my tuxedo cat, Samson, for almost 13 years as well as successfully encouraging my various roommates to foster cats. I have also owned a pet bunny rabbit. I am a Guardian Member of ASPCA and an active member of Grey2K, the organization that is working to ban Greyhound racing throughout the United States. I love animals and prefer to have as many in my life as possible. Although my primary work is with (human) children and adolescents as a tutor and private college admissions counselor, I have participated in several cat and dog sitting gigs in the area. My bike is my primary mode of transportation, and I specialize in overnight care in pets' homes (though I do some day walks from time to time). I can take the commuter rail for overnight visits if you live in the 'burbs. I have worked with an English Bulldog, a Corgi, a Silky Terrier, Chocolate Labs, 3 kitties, and two 100+ pound Swiss Mountain Dogs.
