My family has had pets for my entire life. I helped care for them and play with them, and I love animals a lot. I worked as a veterinary assistant for about a year, taking care of the animals that were boarding as well as helping out with surgeries and other tasks. I was a teacher's assistant for the Science teacher at my high school for two years and my duties involved taking care of mice, snakes, a dog, cockroaches, and newts. Right now, I volunteer at the Nebraska Humane Society as a dog-walker and occasional foster home. I am looking to become a professional dog trainer, but I love all kinds of animals and enjoy helping them have the best life possible. I have personal experience with dogs, cats, fish, snakes, and amphibians, but would enjoy working with horses, birds, or just about anything else as well.
