I am a 24-year-old woman who loves animals. I do not have an impressive work history. I graduated from a Vocational/Technical High school where I studied Culinary Arts. I was interested in a few other career fields but figured I'd try that out first (I was 14-17, I was young, not great parental guidance, didn't know where I wanted to go). I have worked in the restaurant and customer service fields, but have really not been happy. My true interest is a career working with animals. I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, and birds and have owned dogs, fish, and reptiles in my adult life. I was also a dog walker while living in NY. I am looking for a dog walking, daycare, kennel, or vet office job to begin my official learning experience. I am also planning on taking some online courses to be a vet assistant which is usually about a year long. I would really love to be working during this time to make my experience level great. I know most breed names and features (had tons of books when I was little always pretending to be a vet) and I also have done basic training with my own dogs as well as with the dogs I was walking in NY. I'm a friendly, upbeat, always open minded person just looking to have a lifelong career with animals. I live in the Boston area and would really love to help you out.
