Hi! I've been a pet owner since the day my parents brought me home from the hospital. My family has always had pets of all types, including 4 cats, 3 dogs, 2 horses, 2 hamsters, and a ferret. We've also hosted animals as "foster parents" until they found a good home- including 3 very sweet rescued pit bull terriers, a turtle, a sweet and goofy Spaniel/Lab mix, a beautiful Shepherd/Husky mix and her puppies, multiple cats and kittens, and 2 ducklings named Easter Egg and Doctor Evil.

The newest addition to my pet family is Jack, a 3-year-old- 100 lb black Labrador Retriever. He was a lone venture of mine and a constant companion as I made my way through college. At the time he was a puppy I was taking Animal Behavior courses for my Psychology major and learned quite a bit and ended up training him very well on my own (I have videos if you would like to see). I've helped friends train their new pets as well, including house and crate training. Of course in Kentucky, we had a dog park next door and so much land to run and hike but space like that is sparsely available here in the city so I ultimately decided to leave Jack with my parents when I moved. I miss him dearly but know he's in the best of hands.

I don't have the time or space for a pet of my own right now, but would love if I could spend time with someone else's!
