I have been around animals my whole life. I have cared for various animals throughout the 18 years I have been alive. I went through 16 weeks of dog training and two years At Wayne Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center (BOCES) for animal science. In the two years I have been enrolled in this program at BOCES, I have worked with all kinds of animals, big and small. I would groom animals, mainly dogs twice a week, go to a barn and care for horses twice a week and we had all sorts of classroom pets that we were responsible for caring for. The classroom pets ranged from rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and Guinea pigs to turtles, tortoises, frogs and snakes and than some more.
