At 10 years old my family adopted our first pet, a male Golden Retriever. Through the years he has lived with us, I have fed, bathed, walked, brushed, trained, cleaned up after he goes to the bathroom, taken him to the vet, as well has administered medicine when needed (i. e. flea and tic preventing medicine). My family has also had two cats (one of which is mine, Caramel, and he now lives with me here in Arizona). I have fed, cleaned litter boxes, and taken them to the vets. I have experience with giving animals medicine and making lots of trips to the vet, because my cat unfortunately has a urinary problem. However, I now can give cats various types of medicine with hardly any problem. I have also cared for fish (feeding and cleaning the tank), birds (feeding, bathing, and cleaning cages), and hamsters (feeding, and cleaning cage).
