I've loved cats and dogs ever since I can remember. This passion for animals led me to a temporary position as a veterinary assistant. I was exposed to almost every situation imaginable, from the mundane of cleaning the kennels almost bi-hourly to learning how to administer subcutaneous injections and anesthesia. I hated having to see animals suffer every day, but knowing that I was helping them made it all worth it. The way I see it, pets aren't just animals, they are members of families. And they deserve to be treated with the same loving compassion that would be required of any family member. They help fulfill our lives, and I promise I will treat every single animal as if he or she were my very own.
