I currently own two dogs and a cat and have had experience caring for them on my own including minor first aid. I worked at the Philadelphia Zoo working directly with animals such as cockatiels, snakes, and turtles and am currently volunteering every other Saturday at the National Zoo in Washington, D. C. helping to clean stalls, exhibits and other areas of sloth bears, red pandas, clouded leopards, and fishing cats. I also help prepare food and enrichment (games) for those same animals.

I am very interested in animals, and am currently pursuing a career where I am able to work directly with all sorts of animals.
