In my family, we have had fish and birds and we always had at least one dog in our home throughout my entire life. We have had golden retrievers, and when I was younger, my parents bred our golden Evie two times and I had the pleasure of helping to care for her puppies in the months before we sold them. I appreciated the opportunity because it taught me at a young age how to be very responsible. Also, I helped raise several rabbits when I was young and I often help my sister who lives in Brighton take care of her 2-year-old year cat.
