I have always loved animals. Thinking I would become a veterinarian as a child, I have tried to learn about as many different kinds of animals as I could. My love for them led me to a rescue shelter and adoption source, where I volunteered for 3 years. Just like children, animals don't want to just sit & watch television, most want to play and have fun which is the reason I have continually been asked to sit for or care for other animals. Through the years I've been shown that animals need the same loving attention as people; the difference between the two is animals can't always let you know what they want; however, animals will tell you somehow if you watch and listen. I have been in a family home where our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have allowed us to live with them. They have always let me know what they need and most of it is attention, playing, feeding and a lot of cuddling.
