I had a dog for 16 years, and was highly responsible with him. I regularly bathed him, took him to the vet for routine matters or immediately to the vet for any illness. When he was 14 years old, he had a brain tumor, and everybody told me to have him put to sleep. I refused and arranged for my dog to have brain surgery at UC Davis. It was a success, and he lived for another 2 years. I loved every moment of his extended life. I am that passionate about pets. I fed him a special diet that the vet had recommended. The vet was amazed that he lived for 16 years. I cared that much about a pet's life and health.

I browse the Internet for information, share a lot of fun animal pictures with friends and take classes. I travel to the Sierra for vacations and made a fairly precision 3-d relief maps of Yosemite for the park. I love nature, and its creatures.
