I am a former professional who loves animals. My husband and I have had the pleasure of caring for 2 Springer Spaniels and one cat in our 27 years together. We hope to adopt another Springer soon. Over the years, I have cared for numerous pets for friends, neighbors, and family, either in their homes or mine. The dog breeds I have cared for include Labrador, Retriever, Doberman, Pug, Pomeranian, Beagle and of course, Springer Spaniels, to name a few. I have cared for an assortment of wonderful cats who decided, like my own cat, that I was okay because I let them define their own terms. Some of the duties I have been responsible for include keeping up a pet's daily schedule of feeding times, exercise and play/interaction, and all around love and affection (which, I find makes the difference while you are away). I have administered medications and accompanied pets to their vet visits. I am available on short notice and usually available most weekends as well.
