Ever since I can remember, I have been caring for animals. I still remember vividly the baby Robin (Chipper) that I found and hand fed and taught to fly. Yes, it can be done. I put the bird on a broom and waved it up and down like wings. And yes he did eventually flap his wings on his own and flew away; happy, but sad. I have many excellent references from people whose animals I have or currently take care of. Not much scares me, big or small giving meds etc. I was also affiliated with the Zoo for a few years.
