I have owned several dogs over the years. I enjoyed a collie during my younger years. I had to help feed, take care of cleaning up, etc. Her name was Lassie. We had a mixed breed beagle when children were small. The kids named her Patches. We took her in when she was just 6 weeks old. She was a stray. We kept her until we had to put her to sleep due to cancer. She was 14 years old. We took in a German Shepherd/Saint Bernard that someone dropped off. He was only 6 weeks old. His name was Henry. He was named after my father-in-law who was dying when he showed up. We had to have him put to sleep after 15 years due to spine issues and cancer. We also had another beagle. He was a beagle and dalmatian mix!! Can you believe that!! His face and body style was beagle, but he had spots like a dalmatian. His name was Snoopy. We just put him down last winter due to cancer.

Our dogs were mostly outside pets due to allergies and having a disabled child. Our daughter crawled around and we didn't want her to have any issues with accidents by the pets.

We played with the dogs, took them on walks and loved all of them very much.

I fed and walked my sister's Rottweiler when her husband was sick.

I still love dogs but we do not have any at this time. It has been difficult to lose so many in the last few years. We are also retired and take fishing trips so we don't want to put our dogs in a kennel or have relatives have to care for them.

I would love the opportunity to sit with your pet so I could feel that friendly pet love again.
