My name is Nicole and I am a full time student at the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg and I work part time at a children's music and play store in South Barrington. I have had pets my whole life and there has always been a special place in my heart for them. I worked on a horse breeding farm for 2 years as a farm hand and I often dog-sit for my neighbors and family members. I do not have much experience with cats because my family has allergies to them, but I love to be around them and have no pet allergies. Currently my family has 5 birds, a rabbit and a dog, but because I am away at school I only have my bird (a 2-year-old Cockatiel named Smokey) and my grandma's 2 box turtles (Fredrick and Mr. Brown).
