I have lived with pets for my entire life. I have had dogs, guinea pigs, and one cat. Animals hold a special place in my heart. Playing with animals makes me so happy. I spend many hours a week volunteering my time at the Humane Society in Columbia socializing the animals and giving them the opportunity to run around and play outside. I also have experience caring for my neighbors' and friends' pets while they are on vacation. I believe that it is better for the animal to be able to remain at home and be cared for instead of being placed in a kennel for the vacation.
