I have been a proud dog owner for over 20 years. The last 6 years, I have expanded my love for dogs to include running my small, all-natural, healthy and holistic, dog bakery. When my adopted dog Rocky, a Siberian Husky, presented with sensitivities to chemicals and additives, I researched natural remedies to make him healthy. I sell my treats at area Farmers Markets where I can talk with and help educate dog owners in healthy dog care practices. I subscribe to a Natural Alternatives for Dogs website that educates me on the latest in dog health issues. The website links me directly to the documented vet research for each topic.
I have experience giving medication to dogs, ear-cleaning and teeth cleaning. I know what to look for if a dog is not feeling well.
I worked for a pet-sitting business for several years whereby I cared for people's pets in my home.
I regularly participate in raising funds for the SPCA and also have held a fundraiser for Bosco, the working dog for the Lodi Police Department. I participate annually in the Metroparks Dog Paddle to raise money for the Medina County SPCA.
I have taken Canine Massage Classes at the Medina County Career Center and I have also taken a class in Pet First Aid.
