I grew up in a house with a constant rotation of foster dogs (my grandmother owns her own grooming salon and is thus well connected in rescue circles) in addition to our own, ranging from dobermans to miniature poodles and everything in between. The family business also allowed me to "meet and greet" just about every breed. This has afforded me with a comfort of all sizes of dogs. I am also a cat lover, with my own rescue at home.

I have been an SPCA volunteer and have worked as a paid house sitter for dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and rodents since high school.
