I was voted, "Most likely to become a veterinary doctor," in sixth grade because I checked out all the books about animals at the library. So, I had a connection to animals from a young age. The list of pets that I have provided care for is as follows: cats, dogs, fishes, snakes, mice, rats, an iguana, a ferret, a turtle, a tarantula, chickens, a horned lizard, a guinea pig, hamsters, cage birds, goats, a rabbit, and a gerbil.
