In May 2012, as I was driving across South Carolina from Myrtle Beach to Clemson, I saw what looked like a dog running down the median of the interstate. I didn't want to believe what a saw but I immediately turned around and drove back to find the dog. Long story short, the dog didn't have any identification on her, she was starved, and was covered in ticks and fleas. I cleaned her up, took her to the vet, and brought her back to VA with me. With some help, she has been nursed back to health, was named Lucy, and is living a life of luxury with my dad. She is about 6 months old. We're not sure what breed she is, but she looks like a mix between a beagle or Brittany and a hound. (She definitely acts like a hunting dog.)
In addition to Lucy, there are two other dogs in my "pack". Candie is a large golden retriever and she is 7 years old. My family adopted her from the pound in 2005. She lives with my grandmother but I always take care of her if they go out of town.
Kaiah is a mix between a Kimmer Cur and a Laika. Kaiah is almost 2 years old. She currently lives with me.
Other breeds I have experience with: beagle, neufoundland, Labrador, husky/malamute, silkie terrier.
