From my childhood years up to this "gathering of 58, almost 59 years", I have had animals of all types in my life. I have raised many different species... cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits. I took care of an 8 dog kennel, cleaning, feeding, and exercising the owner's four-legged babies from April til December of 2010. I moved back home to Moyock, NC, and therefore had to give up this wonderful job. I did raise one litter of Labrador Retrievers (9 pups) and sold or gave away to my family each one of them (hard to do because I fell in love with each and every one.) You have to have a special "patience" and "love" with any animal, and mine started that way at a very young age, and certainly continues to this day. I treat all animals as I would my own family whether it is mine or yours, the only difference is they have four legs instead of two. Special needs are no problem for me, I have had many dogs and cats in my constant care until they went to Heaven to be with God, and several needed special care as any elderly one would need.
