I'm a grandmother and I currently live on a farm in Eagle, Idaho, but need to find something else soon. It looks like the bank's taking the farm. Throughout my life I have volunteered at animal shelters and have fostered many animals, including a wild raccoon! I especially love cats but am experienced with birds, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, goats, mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters and frogs. I have also taken care of pigs and have owned several fresh water aquariums. I have a common sense approach to my relationship with all creatures and this seems to have an overwhelming calming effect. I am a hard worker and am very strong. I can move 80 bales and carry 50 bags of feed when needed. Nothing bothers me too much. If my hands get dirty they'll wash up nicely.
Having lived for over 60 years and working for others most of that time (20 years) as a corporate manager,) I've learned many things and am experienced in many things. I have a passion for animals and have volunteered hundreds of hours with animal rescue organizations -- with heavy emphasis on feral and domestic cats, dogs and birds, though I have also fostered an injured raccoon (which was re-released into the wild). I've trained horses, pulled and branded calves and currently have a goat herd. I also have 2 domestic cats and a Heeler/Lab cross 'Shadow".
