I am the owner and sole proprietor of a professional pet-sitting business. I serve Rockford, Sparta, Belmont, and Cedar Springs. I am insured and bonded, Pet CPR/First Aid Certified and can provide proof of background check. Before becoming a nurse in 2008, I worked as a zookeeper for over 12 years. I have been training, handling, and caring for animals most of my professional adult life. I have also always been an animal owner and animal lover myself. I have professionally cared for dogs, cats, fish, small primates, great apes, large carnivores, reptiles, hoof stock, birds of prey, exotic birds, and a diverse species of mammals in my profession. I have also been very involved in the community over the years volunteering at wildlife organizations, horse rescues, and shelters. In 2008 I was employed and I "independently" cared for 112 animals (wild and domestic) at a Wildlife Rescue. I am currently a volunteer at a Zoo. I have a bachelor's degree and two associate degrees, and I am a Licensed Practical Nurse. I recently moved to Michigan and would like to be self-employed in the line of work I enjoy the most as I work toward my continued education in professional animal training.
