In addition to my own experience as a business owner of a pet care service, I have many years experience volunteering at various rescues and animal shelters. I have worked extensively with behaviorally-challenged dogs. Along with dog walking and dog care skills, I have experience in basic manners training and utilize a rewards based approach (clicker training). The ability to help transform a dog from being close to euthanasia because of it's unmanageability to one that exemplifies good manners and ultimately leads to a successful adoption, is a type of satisfaction that cannot adequately be put into words. Besides performing basic dog-sitting or walking duties, I would welcome the opportunity to share tips and demonstrate techniques on improving a dog's behavior and sense of well-being.
Let's not forget about cats! I also care for cats, and I try to stand out from the rest of the pet service industry by offering flexibility and customized services - either in my home or yours, no job is too big or too small, no time of day or night too unreasonable a request. My rates are very reasonable. I realize that given the current state of the economy people have had to cut back on expenses, and pet owners are often faced with a financial dilemma when deciding upon pet care. Please consider my services, as I am very negotiable, but ultimately can be thoroughly entrusted with devoted care for your animals.
