I am currently volunteering at SCC. Second Chance Companion, through Pet Smart in Vancouver WA. I am a companion, and caregiver for several cats of all types and natures. I feed and water, and administer meds as needed. Brush them, and clean eyes as needed. I clean and sanitize their cages, and assist customers in any way possible with their inquiries for these adoptable pets. Animals are my greatest love and I have a passion to work with them. I have always had animals in my life, such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. I used to own and care for a blind a diabetic dog, that I administered insulin to, on a daily basis, after taking urinalysis. I kept a log of her daily progress as well. I am very good with animals, and am able at times to get near animals that other people are not able to. I have rescued more than one, and am currently fostering a cat from SCC. I would be very happy to have this opportunity with you! I also trained this blind dog to perform daily activities. I am goal oriented, a strong team player and adaptable to a variety of personalities. Exceed company standards, and am trustworthy and hardworking.
