I have volunteered with and/or support animal organizations. I've also taken courses and received certification in Pet Massage, and Pet First Aid and CPR. I have an associate's degree from HCC, and am planning on transferring to CCBC Essex for the Vet Tech program. I have over five years experience in customer service. I love animals, I'm honest, have a clean background, reliable transportation, and do not drink, smoke, or do drugs. References and resume available upon request.
Aside from Pit Bulls and other large breed dogs, I also have experience with: cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, reptiles, handicapped and sick animals, administering medication, and basic grooming and bathing.
Services/Rates:
*30 minute walk: $10
*Hour long walk/sitting: $20
*Whole day or overnight pet sitting: $50/day.
For 30 minutes ($10), it's mostly just a walk. I will also feed, check mail, lights, and water plants.
An hour ($20) includes a 30 minute walk plus whatever else is needed or wanted (could be playtime, feeding, administering oral or topical meds, basic grooming, cleaning litter box, checking mail, emptying trash, watering plants, etc) or, just an hour-long walk if that's what you want.
Anything longer than 3 hours is a flat $50/day. This can include all the above services, plus transport to vet, grooming, play date, etc.
I am from Aberdeen, and currently live in Parkville. I'm familiar with both areas and back and forth between the two a lot anyway, so I'm willing to work a larger area than most pet sitters.
*Depending upon where I have other appointments that day, may cost an extra $5-10 for gas.
