I have grown up with lots of pets; I've had three hamsters (teddy bears), a rabbit (french lop), two birds (finches), and five cats (a variety, short and semi-long fur). I have cared by feeding, grooming, cleaning, and of course playing and showing affection to these animals. At one point we had all five cats and my rabbit all living together, which was actually a lot of fun; there was a cat everywhere I went in the apartment. My rabbit was a house rabbit by this time too (before, she lived in a cage in my backyard), so the interactions between the cats and the rabbit were very interesting. For the past two or three years, I have been taking care of my friend's dog (a yellow lab) occasionally when they go out of town, ranging from a few days to two weeks at a time. I would feed her, refill her water bowls, clean up her litter box (she is an outside dog), play with her everyday and take her on walks. I have also cared for two golden retrievers and fed ducks. I love animals and would welcome any opportunity to care for them.
