I have owned a dog or a cat ever since I was born. I worked at a local animal clinic as a kennel cleaner for about 2 years. I thoroughly cleaned their cages, fed them, walked them, and tested their feces for parasites. I would also help the groomer and the veterinarian by restraining the dog or cat when needed. I also would pet-sit for friends when they would go on vacation. I would stay at their house while watching after their pet and home. I attended Baker College in Muskegon and Cadillac, Michigan to become a Veterinary Technician. Unfortunately, I had to pass all classes with a 78% or better in order to proceed in the program, but I had a 74% in Pharmacology. I couldn't reapply into the program the next year due to moving to Havelock with my husband (a Marine). However, this October I plan on enrolling in online courses at Animal Behavior College to become certified as a dog trainer and veterinary assistant.
