Have had cats all my life. Lost our 21-year-old feline one year ago. The family dog, an 8-year-old Boxer, has been a substitute child/grandchild for the family. Until he came into my life I was a cat person. Our dog has given me so much pleasure and now I am hooked on all dogs! Pets give so much to people and deserve respect and a good life in return. For dogs that means a daily walk.
