I am a long-term pet lover, I've owned cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits & birds. I have 2 canine companions now.

I have a 6-year-old deaf French Bulldog who I rescued from an abusive situation. He hadn't been socialized and has taken some time to learn his manners and some sign language but what a joy he is! Extensive health issues from his puppy mill in Hungary upbringing have boosted my knowledge of skin and food allergies. Also I have a Shih-Tzu/Poodle puppy. He's a bundle of energy and the smallest dog I've ever owned. He's currently 14 lbs. We are completing a round of obedience training and loving it. He challenged me nicely with potty training.

Prior to this, I owned a 140-lb. Bull mastiff, a lovely gentle giant, for 10 wonderful years. I showed her in conformation for the first years of her life and did extensive obedience training with her. I dealt with several cancers in multiple locations throughout her body though the years. In the end, it was Osteosarcoma that was the final card dealt. Prior to her, I've owned Labradors and many mixes over the years.

I've dealt with virtually every health issue I can come up with in a canine and had to give many pills, liquid medicines, cremes, leg wraps and injections in my time. I come with a fantastic veterinary recommendation!

I've just volunteered for French Bulldog rescue. For Bull mastiff rescue, I did home site evaluations for potential adopters.

I've regularly provided pet-sitting services for neighbors, friends and family including a neurotic chicken stealing Doberman, an asthmatic Pug, and a super-fast Springer Spaniel. I've helped puppy train many pups in basic commands and also assisted with potty training. I've watched cats that hide under the beds or sofas and cats that race around me in circles when I try to feed them or even give birth while I'm cat sitting.

I enjoy walking or exercising dogs large & small and assisting with their walking skills. I know how it can really help with behavior issues. I can work out a set plan with you based on what your pet prefers to do and keep a log of how they are each day. I can email you daily with input/thoughts/observations.

After traveling for 15 years nationwide, I've taken a leave of absence to assist in the care of a parent so I'm quite flexible in my schedule. I water plants & pick up mail. I'm open to discussion for yard scoop cleanup, pet transport and errand running (pet related or other).

I'm American Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR certified.
