For the last 18 years I have had three to five pets. Whenever we go on vacation I never wanted to kennel my pets. Most of the time I would take my pets with me but when we had more than two pets we could not take all three to five pets with us. I had to kennel one of my dogs due to a death in the family and I had to fly out of state for the funeral. The kennel gave me daily progress reports and told me my dog did not wag her tail the whole time she was there. It broke my heart to hear that. Kenneling can be to stressful for some pets. It is something I will never do again. I can also provide dog sitting or doggy day care in my home if your dog gets along with cats as I have three awesome cats that have been around dogs all their lives.
