I watched my neighbor's house and cared for their two beagle dogs for over six years. I was expected to go over there three times a day and take the dogs out, feed them, brush them, walk them, occasionally bathe them, give them their medicine, and occasionally take them to vet appointments (one of the dogs had a lot of health problems). As for the house, my responsibilities included watering plants, setting alarms, keeping things tidy (my neighbor started working out of state and was gone for months at a time). I took the trash out, collected newspapers, got the mail, etc. I also have babysat on and off since I was in sixth grade. My most consistent babysitting job was taking care of three girls, ages 2, 7, and 11. I got along great with these girls, and until the oldest one became old enough to babysit, I was a consistent babysitter for them. I've also been referred to others for babysitting jobs and have cared for infants.
