I have always loved animals. I have had turtles, fish, and I got my first puppy when I was 10 years old. My first dog was a Bichon Frise. She passed away two years ago when she was 12 years old. The last five years of her life she had diabetes and Cushing's disease. She needed extra care, that included daily insulin shots and medications. In November 2010, I rescued a Bichon Frise/Havanese/Poodle mix. I also own a leopard gecko lizard. I love taking care of my pets. I have cared for various people's dogs over the past few years. I love all animals, and enjoy being around them. I love playing with dogs, teaching them tricks and taking them for walks. I have also been involved in many fund raising events for animals in need.
