By working in a pet shop, a vet clinic, a shelter, and by taking animal sciences classes at Ohio State University, I also gained experience taking care of birds, reptiles and amphibians, other small mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and larger animals such as horses, goats, sheep, cows. I am applying to veterinary schools this fall, so I have a passion for animals that applies to my career as well as my personal life.
