I am very diverse when it comes to meeting the needs of others, whatever the task is at hand. Currently, I am an assistant in a toddler room at an early childhood facility, plus I raise my own two school aged children, and substitute for the cook at the facility as needed. I have helped in many rooms that ranged from 6 weeks to 4 years of age. The children are a joy, and so much fun, but I am seeking more one on one interaction. I do have experience with some special needs and behavioral problems. Employment at such a facility does mean that I have and currently still pass a criminal background and DCFS check. I do have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and proof of insurance if needed. Cleaning and pet sitting experience come from mostly personal experience. I do clean and pet sit for my parents. I have cleaned since late childhood, because scrubbing on my hands and knees, climbing a ladder to dust, and moving every last item was always a must. I was taught that cleaning half way was never good enough, so if I was going to clean it had better be a hundred percent, or no pay. My parents also have 3 Cocker Spaniels that are some what anti-social, so when they leave on vacations I take care of them full-time. Pets or pet sitting are not a problem at all as I love animals, and have pets of my own. When I was 13 my first job was walking a Cocker Spaniel, and at 14 the babysitting began for 3 young children full-time as a summer job. I believe in treating others, whether it be a child, pet, or property, with the respect and care that I would expect.
