I am currently graduating from college this December 2012. My next step is to go to veterinarian assistant program by August 2013.
Ever since I was a child I have wanted to work with animals, and with most kids they change their minds again and again. Till this day I still want to work with animals, my love for them keeps growing. I hope when I am older and have my schooling out of the way to become a foster parent for dogs and cats, because every animal deserves a second chance to find a loving family. I have rescued dogs and cats from off the street and have found them loving homes, it's an amazing feeling rescuing an animal and finding them a home where I know they will be taken care of and given the love the deserve.
I have two dogs and one cat that I take care of every day. I also do a lot of pet sitting for my Aunt and many family friends when they go out of town. When I pet sit I normally stay at their house but I can certainly can take care of pets at my home. I also have walked dogs in the past, I don't do it as often right now unfortunately.
Pet sitting and dog walking allows me to work around my school schedule and is helping me pay for my schooling. And the best part of all is I get to work with animals!
