I have 3 years experience as a veterinary technician. I recently left the "corporate world" to stay home with my son, who is starting 3rd grade. I have never been happier than when I was working with animals, it is truly my passion. The veterinary hospital I worked at, also specialized in "exotic" pets, as well as cats and dogs. I have worked with everything, from cats & dogs of all sizes and breeds to birds, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, skunks and hedgehogs. I do not have any aversions to any species or breed of animal, I love them all! Over the past 12 years, I have worked very closely with a dog trainer who has trained all of my dogs. Though I have no formal training, I can do basic obedience and some advanced training. Growing up, I had 3 sheep and a horse, and riding and taking care of horses is still one of my passions, to this today. I currently have 2 Rottweiler's that I rescued from PG County Animal Shelter. In the past I have had 4 other Rottweilers, Leopard Geckos, Cats and Fish. I have very flexible hours and am looking forward to the opportunity to help you with the extended members of you family!
