I love animals and I am very good at giving them love and attention. I previously owned a golden retriever, and I helped my sister train a Labrador for the blind. I have cared for friends pets while they were out of town as well. I have cared for pets including dogs, cats, fish, turtles, and guinea pigs. Caring for friend's pets showed me how different each animal is, and how wonderful they are. They all have varying personalities, allowing me to love them so much more. As for pet care work experience, I was recently a dog care taker for my neighbors. I worked for them for about a year. I looked after their dog during the days when they were at work. Their boxer, Jake, was a character. I would bring their mail in and let him out of his kennel to take him for a walk or play with him. Occasionally, with their permission, I would even put him in my car and go to a park. Another work experience I had was with my sister. She was a house sitter, she would care for the home and pets while her employers were out of town. On occasion she would bring me along, showing and teaching me how to properly love and care for the pets as well as care for the home. I have also had five years experience with dealing with horses, learning how to groom and care for them. I currently work for a retail party store, however I hope to gain more experience and show animals my love for them.
