I have grown up around pets my entire life. I love animals and I love being with them! I have worked for families as a nanny/sitter, many of them have family pets. Which I am responsible to help take care of and often would be asked by the family to come sit for their animals while they were traveling. Duties included but were not limited to: cleaning up after pets, washing off paws if its rainy or dirty outside, walking, playing, feeding, hanging out or just spending time with them. Play time at the park, doggy playdates, walks around the block/s, grooming, baths, picking up more pet food/products etc. On occasion I will even buy toys for the pets that I sit for (given the parents are OK with that).

Anytime I house sit I am responsible for watering any plants, mail pickup, keep the house in order, staying over night and have taken care of pets for up to a week or more!

I also worked at a Dog hotel that would board pets for people traveling for long or short periods of time. They would get extra special attention and have play time each day/several times a day! As well as extra attention was paid to those animals who had health issues and senior pets or needed to take medication and were on a special diet.

I feel that pets are just as important as a child. They need extra special attention, love and a lot of TLC!
