I have had dogs all my life. I can't imagine life without a pet! I love my dog. He is definitely one of a kind. He is part Border Collie and Basset Hound. So you can imagine the mentality and body type of this wonderful little man in my life! :) He doesn't like to go for walks. He will not leave the yard, which is good! He has a million toys and hates having his picture taken. So funny! He barks every time I try.

Another passionate thing about me is that whenever I see those commercials about donating money to animal shelters and it shows the abused pets, I cry my eyes out every time! How could someone be so cruel? I am so happy animal abuse has become a felony. Animal Cops on Animal Planet is another one I cannot watch. :(

Having a pet makes life fuller and happier I think!

I have done house-sitting and pet-sitting for friends and family. I house-sat for one month for a family in Bountiful. I stayed there for the month with their German Shepard. I walked her everyday and played with her in the backyard. She was on medication. I followed the instructions from the family as to what they needed done in their home while they were gone and the care for their dog. I enjoyed doing that job!

Last November, I house-sat and pet-sat for some long time friends. They had three dogs, two small, one large. I stayed there for a week. I watered the plants and backyard as instructed and played with the dogs in the backyard to make sure they got some sort of exercise. Their dogs are not good at going for walks.

I also have several years of house cleaning experience. My aunt has her own house cleaning business and I have assisted her with many cleaning jobs from vacant homes to the upkeep of homes being shown to sell and just regular house cleaning for clients.

I love to exercise and would love to have a dog who could and would go running or hiking with me. I run everyday. I eat very healthy.
