I have trained my own Labradores and have a lot of experience with friend's dogs. It's important for daily walks, training sessions, etc to keep your dog happy and content. On lead training with treat enforcement seems to work best. When they obey without the treat and start rewarding with praise and wean them off the treats. I LOVED training my dogs and it continues to be such a rewarding experience. They are both 3 and I'm thrilled to be an important part of their lives.
