I am a senior Art and Writing major at Houghton College in Houghton, NY. I live in Solon. Since middle school, I have dog-sat and cared for the pets of over six families and several volunteer organizations. I have watched as few as one cat and as many as three large dogs, one cat and a lizard. Working in volunteer organizations has prepared me for caring for many animals at once, sometimes as many as 30 dogs, cats or horses. I am very responsible and have been trusted with house-sitting for as long as a week and a half. I love animals. I have an intermediate understanding of American Sign Language. My philosophy for pets includes love, firmness and never anger. I have personally owned a rabbit, parakeet, fish and guinea pig. I am very enthusiastic and energetic, and love to try new things.
